On May 29 and 30, Nicos Ioannou, Member of the Executive Committee of WPA (GPO), Member of the Politburo and Economic Secretary of the Working People’s Progressive Party of Cyprus, and Michael Parides, CEO of Cyprus LAIKO GROUP, visited Jinhua.

The second meeting of the first executive committee of WPA (GPO) was held successfully on the afternoon of May 29.

The First International Conference of World Peasant Association (Global Peasant Organization) kicked off on Dec. 15, 2022, in Senshan Health Town, Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China, as scheduled. Organized by China Agriculture Cooperation Association (World Peasant Association Greater China Region), the conference was open to the public in an unofficial form. It demonstrated efforts to strengthen openness and cooperation across nations as well as the genes and bloodline of the unification and cooperation of all peasants worldwide.

Upon scheduling a meeting with Commercial Counselor Muhammad Irfan, Huang Yanbin, Director of Planning and Finance Division of WPA (GPO), Li Guoqiang, Director of South China General Workstation of CACA, and Fu Jun, Deputy Director of Xinjiang Workstation Preparation Group of CACA traveled to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Guangzhou on February 13. They expressed respect and gratitude to Mr. Irfan for his warm reception.

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck southeast Turkey and northwest Syria on February 6, 2023, leading to heavy casualties and property damage and leaving tens of thousands of people homeless and in desperate need of material assistance. Humans are related to one another in the face of disasters. The earthquake in Turkey and Syria is causing great concern among people all over the world, including the Chinese.

An investment promotion meeting in agriculture sector was held in Hefei, China’s Anhui Province in late November. It aims to promote the cooperation between Zunyi’s pod pepper industry and CACA’s affiliates in East China.
