World Farmers Association Donates Uniforms to Palestinian Schools to Boost Education in Conflict Zones
In a bid to bolster children’s education amid conflict, the World Farmers Association (Global Peasant Organization) recently launched a charity drive, delivering school uniforms to three public elementary schools in Palestine as a tangible gesture of care and hope.
Led by the association’s Palestinian representative, Mr. Bahaa Al-Deek, new uniforms were distributed to first-grade students at Kafr Al-Deek Boys Elementary School, Broqin Boys Elementary School and Farkha Boys Elementary School in Salfit Governorate. Beyond providing warmth, the uniforms aim to make the children feel supported by the international community.
“Through practical aid, we hope to mitigate the impact of war on education and bring a small measure of warmth and hope to Palestinian children,” said Mr. Al-Deek during the donation ceremony.
School officials reported that financial struggles had left many families unable to afford winter clothing, with plummeting attendance rates due to harsh weather. They expressed gratitude for the WFA’s support, emphasizing that the uniforms would directly improve the learning environment for younger students.
The initiative underscores WFA’s commitment to Palestinian children and the international community’s role in advancing peace and development. It calls for more organizations and individuals to join such efforts, working together to build a more inclusive and harmonious world.
